We are delighted to welcome our friend Joseph Frawley to guide us at this Sunday’s Check In session.
Joseph will be speaking about “Skilful means (upāya)”- which is a Buddhist teaching approach that accommodates different methods for each student. It indicates a flexibility at the heart of Buddhist practice.
The questions he would like us to consider are:
- Can you remember a time where you have adapted your interactions with someone to better suit their capabilities, worldviews or beliefs?
- How might the concept of skilful means help solve a contemporary problem?
